Samsung Galaxy S has been officially announced on AT&T as Samsung i897 Captivate. AT&T is the first US carrier to offer Samsung Galaxy for its customers.
Samsung i897 Captivate packs a big 4-inch super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, Android OS v2.1 Eclair, 3G HSDPA connectivity, 1GHz processor, 5 megapixels camera capable of 720p HD video recording, Bluetooth v3.0, Wi-Fi, 16GB of on-board storage (expandable up to 32GB using microSd card).
