Tutorial: Enable Secret God Mode In Windows 7 & Windows Vista

If you are using Windows 7, you might wonder if you come to know there exists a feature called ‘GodMode’ in Windows 7.

The name may sound as joke but it’s actually worth, taking into account access to the huge number of operating system control settings it offers at one place that makes you feel like god, when I tested it on my machine, it gave showed me a total number of 274 times in GodMode folder icon.

Procedure:

Warning: This procedure works well on 32-Bit based Windows 7 and Windows Vista machines.I heard that trying GodMode creates problems in 64bit machine, but it worked for some users though, my sincere advice is to don’t try this if you are using 64bit machine till someone officially announces that it’s safer to do this.

  1. Create a new folder
  2. Rename it to GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
  3. rename folder enter GodMode String
  4. You will now see the following GodMode icon
  5. GodMode icon
  6. You have now successfully created a GodMode icon, open it to see the various control settings that your windows can offer you all at one place.

Google India Search Quality Team Wants To Review Your Website !!

Google India Search Quality team has called for a very interesting campaign called Google India Site Clinic, this is a real chance for webmasters to get their site assessed by Google Pros.

According to the campaign plan, interested webmasters can submit their websites to the Google Site Clinic.The Search Quality team will analyze the websites submitted and will provide advice on improving the accessibility and other factors that will in turn affect the visibility of your website in Google search results.

WordPress has released upgrade to its latest version 2.9, with WordPress 2.9.1 which has been made available for download just few hours ago at the time this post being written.

This new upgrade includes fixes for the minor issues with the last released version of this blogging software.

Google Doodle For Newton B’Day

Google is celebrating Sir Isaac Newton’s birthday this time with and animated Doodle on its homepage, something that is very rare, as we don’t see animated Doodles on Google usually (this might be the first such thing, according to Amit )

 

 

 

 

 

 

Anyway, that’s a great work which reminds us of the Newton-Apple story quickly into our minds.It’s 366th birthday anniversary of the genius.

Google Nexus One Preview Video

Google Nexus one phone the going to be ‘The first biggest tech product launch from a major company’ in 2010, is scheduled to be in Android Press Conference.

Of course, we have had  lot of leaked pictures, leaked web pages and now it’s the turn of the videos.As you can easily find out, plenty of videos have been making way to video sharing sites like YouTube, Dailymotion etc. One such video (the longest possible video, I’d say) which caught my attention was this one from Dailymotion, the duration of the video is 09:59 .

The video shows a Nexus One phone(?) with French interface being explored by an enthusiast showcasing its various features:

When just I finished my celebrations for the new year 2010 and opened this blog in Firefox Google Toolbar, I noticed this PageRank update which has underwent rather silent this time,  (It’s the Nexus One that has set the internet buzzing even before it’s release off late) was on.

Techrena.net PageRank has however been updated to PR 2, ( We lost our PR2 in the last PR update), so that means we got back to PR 2 which we maintained most time of the year 2009.

My IP Neighbors is a great site to find the other websites hosted on your same web host/ server.Often this is useful particularly in case if you are using a shared hosting service, as all these websites will be hosted on the same server/ IP address.

Visit My IP Neighbors, Just enter the name of the website like ‘google.com’ for instance in the text field to look up the other websites hosted on the same server as that of google.com
